PMP Certification Exam Prep Bootcamp

1. Review and confirm the PMP® certification requirements 
2. Select and register for your Bootcamp session 
3. Receive Bootcamp confirmation and review pre-Bootcamp materials 
4. Join Project Management Institute® (PMI®) 
5. Attend the Bootcamp 
6. Schedule and sit for the PMP Certification Exam, within 7 - 30 days of the Bootcamp 
7. Renew your certification every three years

In order to sit for the PMP Certification exam, you will need to submit an application to Project Management Institute (PMI®). PMI® publishes their requirements here. We will help with your application on day-1 of the Bootcamp. 

Prior to registering for the Bootcamp, you will be asked to confirm that you meet one of the following sets of PMP certification requirements: 

Set A:

• High school or secondary school diploma
• Minimum 60 months/5 years' experience leading and managing projects within the past eight years
• 35 hours of project management education/training or CAPM certificate

Set B: 

• Bachelor's degree or higher (or global equivalent)
• 36 months/3 years' experience leading and managing projects within the past eight years
• 35 hours of project management education/training or CAPM certificate.

Set C:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (or global equivalent) from a GAC accredited program
• 24 months/2 years experience leading and managing projects within the past eight years
• 35 hours of project management education/training (GAC core project management course work is pre-approved to fulfill this requirement)

Virtual Bootcamps are pre-scheduled. You will be required to attend a minimum of 35 contact hours in order to receive a Bootcamp certificate and schedule the certification exam.  You’ll be asked to confirm that you are able to commit to the entire Bootcamp (Monday through Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm MST). 

Statistics show that participants have a much better chance of passing the exam when the material is fresh. You will also be asked to confirm that you are able to schedule and sit for the exam within 7 - 30 days of the Bootcamp. Plan your personal schedule accordingly.

Once your registration and payment are confirmed, you will receive Pre-Bootcamp materials, including: 

• a calendar invitation to block your calendar for the selected Bootcamp
• instructions to download or access online materials -   PMI’s® PMBOK®, Exam Content Outline®, Agile Practice Guide® and Process Groups: A Practice Guide®; and Rita Mulcahy's™ PMP® Exam Prep System
• an invitation to join and participate in our Teams collaboration site with your instructors and cohort

The PMI® membership fee is currently $164. This membership provides you with: 

• foundational standards and tools, 
• unlimited access to PMI’s Business Reading Center (1,700+ publications), 
• 2,500+ free and discounted webinars, events, study guides, digital apps, templates and white papers, 
• access to a Project Management Job Board real-time access to, and guidance from industry experts. and 
• discounted professional development, including $250 savings on the PMP Certification Exam!

Be sure to obtain any approvals needed (Manager/Director, Project Manager, client) so that you can fully commit to spending the entire week of the Bootcamp with us. This Bootcamp will provide you with the necessary tools to study for and pass the PMP Certification Exam. 

On day-1, we will assist you with your PMI Exam Application. About 10% of applications are rejected or randomly audited. We will walk you through this process, if needed. 

After your application is accepted, and after completing the day-5 bootcamp, you will schedule your exam appointment at a testing center (recommended) or online. The exam fee is currently $425 (for members) - a $250 savings!

PMI® requires that you renew your PMP® certification every three years, by claiming Professional Development Units (PDUs) and paying the renewal fee (currently $60). Additional information is available here. On day-5, we will share information regarding various ways to meet this requirement.
